As the major in Architecture in undergraduate degree, urban design in master degree, and design methodology in Ph.D., the research interesting of Ching-Chuan Lin mainly includes Advanced Architectural Design, Design Theory, as well as Urban Design.
To encourage students' creativity and cultivate the ability of independent and critical thinking for design research, Ching-Chuan Lin emphasizes integration of design practice with art and architecture theory, by means of specialized studies and methodological approaches. The research categories address incorporation of urban design with architecture design.
