Michael Paripol Tangtrongchit

Michael Paripol Tangtrongchit is an architect, an educator and an executive of the School of Architecture and Design, KMUTT, where he has been teaching full-time since 1996 and serving as its Dean in the first term from 2006-2010, the second term from 2015-2019, and the third term from 2019-2023. He obtained his B.Arch. from Chulalongkorn University and M.Arch from Illinois Institute of Technology, in Chicago, USA. He also served as director of Community of Desirable Environment (CODE) and Research and Design Service Center (REDEK), KMUTT. He has been continuously invited to be a commentator of annual international workshops at KIT since 2009. For professional community, he has been in Program Certification Working Group, International Subcommittee, and Accreditation Site Visit Committee for Architects’ Council of Thailand (ACT). He has been all also a representative of ACT in APEC Architect Council which he involved since its establishment. He has been taking part in the establishment of Council of Deans of Architecture Schools of Thailand (CDAST) and is the designer of its logo. Professionally, he used to work with Design & Develop Co.Ltd. And later established an architectural firm called Arkitectural Komposer (AK). His professional experiences cover different building types and scale: schools, dormitories, master planning, interior design, exhibition, office building, and wellness design.
